Initial reports from Nakuru are confirming Swamibapa as Champions of the Jagir Singh Memorial Tournament in Nakuru. They defeated Nairobi Jaffery in the final, which I'm assuming meant the latter upset Kanbis in the semis. Nairobi Gymkhana took home the Loser's Plate. Also from Nakuru is the news that the weekend's scheduled Akshar League match between Diamond Club and Kericho was postponed to allow the teams a chance to see the national players in action.
