Robbed!!

Ok, now I am really iritated. Yes we lost, and yes Tikolo got a rotter of a decision preventing him from staying at the crease and preventing a collapse, but things like that happen in cricket and you need to move on. What has really got me ticking this morning is seeing the Man-of-the-match award go To Mortaza rather than Odoyo. To my mind, the award should go to the player whos contribution makes the biggest differenct to the match. Yes Mortaza played well, but basically performed to expectations. From 6/45, Bangladesh would have looked bloody silly if they had lost this game. One man nearly made that happen. Thomas Odoyo not only stopped the rot, but went past his personal best in an ODI, marshalling the tail and inching Kenya's total towards respectability. Then he went nuts at the end of the innings to take Kenya to a defendable target. Not finished with that, he came back to take 4 wickets for 36 and keep Kenya in the match right up until the final couple of overs. Without him, there would have been no match, there would have been a rout. Thomas Odoyo, I don't have a great big cheque, or bottle of bubbly to present you, but I'm sure I do have the support of every Kenyan fan when I name you our Man Of The Match. May the flatulence of a thousand elephants disturb the sleep of whoever decided to give the award to someone else.

What is this? What the hell Mortaza did to win a MOM award.... It was such a fine performance from Tom, still some crazy idiots gave the award to another idiot.

Well, winning teams almost always get MOM awards. Odoyo played extremely well. Here is what I think the batting order should be.
Otieno,Ouma,Mishra,Tikolo,K.Patel,Obuya,Modi,Odoyo, Odhiambo,Ongondo,Varaiya
Luseno and Ravi Shah need to join this team to give some stability.

I totally agree with you the man of the match we were robbed did the commentators know that the MOM doesnt have to come from the winnng team surely.. I was waiting to see Odoyo step up and claim his five hundred dollar prize but ok we will see...

All in all we had the game and Steve ran out of bowling ideas to finally gave the match away.. Anyway the fought hard lets see if they will face save tomorrow...

as a bangladesh fan...i must say that odoyo did deserve the MoM. he deserved it a considerable bit more than Mortaza. but i guess mash got it cuz his team won, and he won it for them. cuz rasel actually bowled better than him.

now had odoyo scored 50 and took 4-36, i would have given it to mash. but take it from me, the losing side always gets gypped.

good luck in the finale tomorrow

Thomas Odoyo was robbed but that's the way International cricket functions.
