What 'wounds' are you talking about in your latest post - unless you mean Duckworth/Lewis? The Kenya side, well managed and well led, put up a really spirited performance; all the games were actually close except the 1st ODI, and even then...if only Collins Obuya had been able to hit a six off the last ball of the 3rd ODI. Have you seen the scorecards? Go to Ireland (or Kenya) on Cricinfo's Countries page and you will see that, though there are no points in the bag (except for three from the Intercontinental Cup), that was more because of bad luck and D/L than anything else.
Be fair, Mr Editor, to a valiant team which got next to no coverage in the Kenyan press because all that seems to have been stitched up by Ghai, Inamdar or whichever clown is currently pretending to chair Cricket Kenya. God help us all!

Wounds refer to the fact that other than the 3 IC points, Kenya did not get much joy from this tour. I followed the games live online and Kenya should have won both the 1st and 3rd ODI. On different days they might have.
These sentiments are not just mine - very similar have been shared with me by at least 4 of the squad. Kenya fought mightily, but we expected more and what is galling, could have achieved more. This team will bounce back and will get wins this year, of that I am certain and they have my full support, but that cannot take away from the fact they also lost on this tour.
