Hello from Canada. I've been following your site to get score updates from the match, since the CCA is lame. I just returned from the ground (an hour early because I couldn't stand the heat) and have a score for you. Canada are 283-9 with an hour left to play in Day 3. Apparently Canada were something like 250-5, and then had some troublesome times. The weather has been hot and will continue to be tomorrow, 35 Celsius with high humidity.

Just thought I would share this with you in light of the total lack of information being posted by the official sources. I wasn't even planning on going to the ground today, but after refreshing cricinfo for the 199417th time, I had to find out what was happening. Anyway, looks like an exciting day tomorrow, and *I* hope Canada can pick up a couple quick wickets tonight. 14-4 again wouldn't be bad. Cheers then,

Jonathan in Toronto

Nick,

I made a comment on the "Kenya fight back" post of yours but can't find it..

Coming to the match, I think Kenya have a real task on hand on the final day in their quest for 246 runs to register what would be a memorable win..As usual, everything rests on the captain and on Modi, though Mishra might feel more confident after his first innings heroics..I think Kenya should look to send the young Mishra up the order at No.5 while the more experienced Modi can come down the order so that he can guide the team in the final stages, if it gets close..

Btw, Jonathan, may I know whether you are a Canadian cricket fan or an expat in Canada because I thought hardly anyone (outside of the expats) knows about cricket in Canada?

I'm a 3rd generation Canadian of Estonian descent. I am one of the few who have discovered the beauty of cricket (through being in England during the '01 Ashes tests) and am a true Canadian cricket fan. Nice to meet you.
