Kenya Fight Back

I have no way of confirming this, but an anonymous post tells me that with one hour to play of Day 2, Kenya have fought back to be only 45 runs adrift at 9-190. There is still a recognised batsmen at the crese in Tanmay Mishra who is batting with Hiren Variaya. I will of course confirm this or update it if I can find more before I leave for work.
If it is correct, it is a good effort by us to at least get back in the match. Hopefully, Tanmay and Hiren were able to hold on long enough to get us those crucial first innings points too. Fingers crossed!

I dont have the exact score but kenya managed to score 200+ and canada were sent in to bat towards the end of play

Good news we got to over 200, though it sounds like the first innings lead still went to Canada.
Hopefully we got a couple of wickets before the end of play

231 all out, so only 4 runs behind - pretty impressive fightback from 14/4...

Thanks to Mishra 83 Kenya felled short of 4 runs to pass their hosts. Hope they worked miracles during the night and will win..

Nick,

Good to hear from Cricinfo that Kenya have fought back into the match thanks to some resolute late order batting by Modi, Mishra, Obuya and Ngoche...

Brief scores at the end of day 2: Canada: 235 all out and 52/1, Kenya: 231 all out

You probably already know this, but cricinfo has updated (and it was printed in the Toronto Star) that Kenya was bowled out for 231, and Canada are 52/1 in reply. Looks like a close match!

Hi guys - good to see you all chacking in, and thanks to those who posted the scores. Unfortunately I work hours that make it possible for me to do much until a few hours before the next day's play unless I can get the news just after the close of the previous day.

Hi Valedon, thanks for the support - it is great to see lots of fans from Kenya visit the site and support cricket. This match is a great illustration as to why it is such a good game.
